Registering for the first time
|
|
|
If you are looking for a Share home, you can create your profile FREE of any charges, when someone is looking for a tenant/flatmate
they can check your profile and if suitable make contact with you direct.
Go to and click on register complete the registration form, including your username, password and contact details,
once you have registered successfully, we will activate your account and notify you by email.
Once you have received our activation email you will be able to login with your username and password then you can:-
- Create, Edit, Update your listing/s - Profile
- Contact advertisers and or be contacted

Advertiser Registration
|
|
|
Registering is simple, click on register and start building your contact, profile & listing details
- Complete the required initial contact details then press Submit at the bottom of the form. Check your email account for your account activation.
- Once you receive our email, you can complete your profile/advertisement, after you have successfully completed your advert, it will be listed on our site immediately and available for others to see and contact you.
- You can pay for your listing using, Visa card, Bank card or Master card via PayPal. If you do not have a credit card, contact us for our banking details.
- During your membership term, you can change or update any part of your profile/listing at any time, simply login and use the appropriate area to change your information.
- Use your own words in the text areas provided where you can write/rewrite your advertisement.
- Each time you login, you will need to enter your username and password.
- You can change or update any part of your account/listing at any time, simply log on, and use the appropriate area to change the details.

Viewing Listings and Contacting Advertisers
|
|
- You may browse listings, click on the required search function at the top of the page, i.e. click on the location required or type in the suburb required (we recommend you use the location search function, for a greater selection of listings). Use the Advance search link to simplify your search.
- It’s free to view listings and contacting advertisers, however, prior to making contact, you will need to register with a valid email address, once you have created your free member registration, you may contact as many advertisers as you wish.

Terminating or Cancelling Your Membership
|
|
|
Any of the following may occur when members include unacceptable information in their profiles, including;
- Offensive language or sexually explicit materials;
- False information;
- Material promoting any commercial enterprise;
- When the terms and conditions have been breached by the inclusion of such information in a profile, Flatmates Downunder may freeze that membership, suspend it or terminate the related account without notice at any time at its discretion.
If your account has been terminated, frozen or suspended, you can no longer make contact with members or update your account until you contact or are contacted by our technical support staff to have your membership reactivated and at the discretion of Flatmates Downunder.
To stop receiving contact from other members and for the benefit of those looking, we ask that you remove your advertisements as soon as it’s tenanted. Simply login and delete it from the appropriate section

Viewing Listings
|
|
|
|
Use the search functionality at the top of the page to see the listings and browse through the advertisements.
|

Make Contact
|
|
|
|
Once you've located a suitable listing, click on the advert Details on the profile to “Contact the Advertiser”
|
|
|

- Subject to our terms & conditions, your advertisement will be advertised on our site for up to 60 days unless cancelled, suspended or deleted beforehand.
- We do not warrant the success of your advertisement.
- The advertisement fee is non refundable.
